I recently had my gall bladder removed.
I totalllllllly underestimated the surgery and recovery time. I thought I’d be up and back to normal the next day.
Nope.
3 days at least until I could move without wincing. Almost 6 days later and I’m moving about easily with no major pain, just some discomfort when I sit up, stand up or laugh.
Yesterday, my mother and I went out to run some errands (she is visiting me to help me, aw, love you mom) and while in Staples browsing around she stops and looks at a rack.
I slow down to wait for her and she looks at me and says, “Are those….records?”
I grab my tummy to brace myself and burst out laughing, omg it hurts to laugh.
“Moooom,” I say gently, “…those are calendars.”
ha ha ha
At this point I’m hunched over in a silent but painful laugh, literally trying not to bust a gut. She’s laughing embarrassingly now as well.
“Well I was wondering why John F. Kennedy would have a record, he didn’t sing.” she continued.
Omg mom please, it seriously hurts to laugh.
I giggled all the way to the car and most of the way home.
Records. I’m still giggling about it.
xo

Hahahaha! This.
Is wonderful. Made my day! Lol
Xo love your mom hehe
