Super Cute Hanging Shelf made from Paint Stirrers
I’ve seen many DIY hanging shelf ideas on Pinterest lately and have been wanting to make one of my own.
I originally got my inspiration from these hanging shelf ideas. The clay pots and bedside table hanging shelf.
I had some balsa wood paint stirrers laying around so I used them to make my own version of an adorable hanging shelf.
I used a glue gun to stick the pieces together. Worked really well.
I then drilled a hole in each corner and inserted some twine and tying it in a knot underneath.
In the future I will paint before I attach the twine.
After giving it a light coat of pink acrylic craft paint…tada!

I forgot to mention in the photo under materials that I used a drill to make the holes.
The shelf is pretty sturdy but I wouldn’t put anything really heavy on it.
It’s pretty small anyhow so it will be perfect for a little plant!
This hanging shelf can be hung from the ceiling or the wall.
Now I’ve got to go little plant hunting.
