DIY Easter Centerpiece
Easter always brings me memories of happiness and excitement. Happiness because it was a holiday and I knew we’d be having a family dinner somewhere and excitement because it meant spring was here and if the weather was nice enough it meant my brother and I could get our bicycles out from winter storage!
Usually my brother and I would each wake up with a chocolate bunny at the foot of our beds and we knew when we went to our grandparents house we’d each get a chocolate egg with some other kind of chocolate treat inside, smarties, mini mars bars, whatever they picked that year.
Also, dinner was usually at our grandparents house.
Sometimes they’d have cute little yellow chickadees hiding in a flower pot as an Easter centerpiece or sometimes just regular candles. Well, here’s my super easy but beautiful Easter centerpiece idea:
I went to The Dollar Tree and picked out a few cute Easter things that I thought would make a nice centerpiece.
The Easter lillies I thought were perfect and the plastic eggs were too cute to pass up and matched the flowers nicely.
When I put everything together in a large glass bowl it looked great!
I then added some little led lights (that I have made centerpieces with before) with some clear gems to give it an extra something special, that way if the lights were dimmed it would still be enjoyable while still being able to see the adorable Easter eggs.
I think if you had children at your Easter dinner it would be a neat idea to put some Easter treats in the plastic eggs and give them out to the kids after dinner. The eggs are big enough to fit a few treats and the lids come off easily. Also a cute little trinket box for the kids afterwards.
There are 4 plastic eggs in this centerpiece but the package came with 6 and the centerpiece could easily have held 8.
What do you think of my Easter Centerpiece? Do you think it would make a nice addition to your Easter dinner table?
