How to Remove Sidebar and Expand Width of Post/Page in 2 steps.
I’ve used this a number of times and was thinking that it could be helpful to you. On certain pages I hide the sidebar and expand the width to the whole page.
There’s no reason to have everything on every single page, as long as it’s on my home page the sidebar doesn’t need to take away from things. For example; on my blog luv/linkies page I removed the sidebar so that the only thing on the page are the blog buttons I want to show.
Doing this helps your blog look more organized and clean and keeps the focus more on your content.
How to remove sidebar and expand width to whole
You can do this by editing your template HTML but instead I choose to use the code below at the top of my post. This way I can use it when I want to and not have to fiddle around with my template too often.
To do this on individual pages, copy the code below and paste it to the beginning of your post. (paste it in html mode when writing your post and then switch back to compose mode to continue your post/page)
