It seems that little Miss Lohan is in trouble again, the thing is, I don’t know what for and I don’t give a flying sh*t what she did.
Oh dear, I apologize for this rant in advance but I feel that I need to let it out.
I am so sick, let me repeat myself, SO SICK of hearing about what people wore to the awards, who their designers were, what so and so did to get into trouble, what kind of slip up someone made in an interview, who said something offensive and got caught…I can go on and on.
Here’s what I find actually offensive; many people are more interested in and more drawn to this kind of bullshit over; their own realities, their own families, people who are suffering and dying, those that have no clothes, no shoes and live in their own feces.
Would it be so hard to think about that once in a while over who the f*ck designed someones four thousandth dress? (no disrespect to designers)
I know we tend to be fascinated with the lives of the rich and famous and I also know that it’s OK to pay attention to those kinds of things, my problem is when these trivial things take precedence in someones daily interests and/or concerns. We all need to escape things sometimes and find ourselves relishing in frivolous†thoughts and activities and that’s OK too however, that isn’t my point.
Let’s pay more attention to the multiple countries in the midst of civil wars, the starving people, the sick people, the people who have to take sh*ts in the same places that they eat and sleep, the girls being forced into sex slavery, the animals being tortured, missing children, natural disasters and on and on and on…
I don’t know who helps and who doesn’t and I’m not accusing people of not helping out, I’m simply saying that there’s too much dam attention on meaningless nonsense and I don’t like it.
I wish I could do more, I wish I could make a huge difference for people in need. Maybe someday I’ll figure out how I can do that. In the meantime, I’ll just bitch about it once in a while and hopefully draw some attention to worthwhile things..
Thanks for listening.
